◢Meniscus lens
In contrast to many other shapes of optical lenses, meniscus lenses are rarely offered as a finished product. Meniscus lenses are primarily used for focusing small spots or for collimation applications, whereas plano-convex lenses typically offer a superior price/performance ratio. However, there are some cases where meniscus lenses offer significantly superior performance.
UV grade Fused Silica meniscus lenses have one convex and one concave surface. The meniscus lenses can be useful to control laser beam of appropriate wavelength, it can minimise the spherical aberration.
We manufacturing the UV grade fused silica lenses and coating multiayer AR coating for 250-400nm on both surface.
