MgF2 Coated Double-Concave Lenses

CLZ Optical Co., Ltd. provides biconcave lenses with Mg2F coating. The biconcave lens itself has two inwardly concave surfaces that form a negative focal length and can transmit light. These lenses are commonly used for applications such as beam expansion, image reduction, light projection, and expansion of the focal length of optical systems. Magnesium fluoride (MgF2), on the other hand, is an excellent optical material with high transmittance properties in the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared fields, especially in the ultraviolet spectral region.

CLZ provides biconcave lenses coated with MgF2 transmittance enhancement coating, which can significantly reduce the reflection loss on the surface of the lens and increase the transmittance of light. This coating treatment not only enhances the optical performance of the lenses but also gives them a wider range of applications in various optical systems. For example, biconcave lenses with MgF2 coating can play an important role in lasers, infrared optics, ultraviolet optics, and high-energy detectors.
